3D Synthetic Data Research Engineer

iProov is looking for a Synthetic Data Research Engineer, who specialises in the creation of synthetic 3D imagery, to join the growing AI function in our talented Science & Research team based in London. You will be responsible for developing the next generation of biometric security systems, solving cutting edge problems and working with the rest of the team to deploy the solutions.

The Research Engineer is expected to be remote until the end of 2021 and will then be based from our London HQ. The Synthetic Data Research Engineer will report to the Head of AI.


· Create 3D synthetic imagery datasets for a variety of biometric applications

· Generating hyper-realistic 3D human models

· Develop new tools for synthetic imagery construction for biometric security

· Work with the rest of the team to facilitate the rapid development of security systems in response to evolving threats


· Bachelors or above in a numerate discipline such as computer science, engineering or related field

· 2+ years experience developing high quality synthetic imagery

· Knowledge/Experience of Python (a good plus but not a must)

· Experience of using Maya, Blender, Unity3D or similar

· Experience with a range of synthetic imagery construction techniques
