Computer Vision Research Engineer (Machine Learning, AI)

iProov is looking for a Computer Vision Research Engineer to join our talented Science & Research team based in London. You will be responsible for working on the biometric systems, developing new techniques and algorithms ensuring security and performance.

iProov is on a mission to make the internet a safer place for businesses and consumers. Our unique facial biometric technology allows banks, governments, healthcare and travel providers to verify customer identity online and provide simple access to secure services.

The Computer Vision Research Engineer is expected to be remote until the end of 2021 and will then be based from our London HQ. The Computer Vision Research Engineer will report to the Head of AI.


  • Conduct and manage research projects in the areas of computer vision, machine learning and biometrics
  • Work with our developers to see the products of the research turned into production code
  • Communicate research outcomes across the company
  • Contribute to the broader research strategy of the company


  • A Masters or PhD in a numerate discipline such as computer science, engineering, computational neuroscience
  • You are experienced in machine learning and computer vision
  • You have strong mathematical ability
  • You have experience with at least one of Python, Mathematica, Matlab, C++
