Full Stack Software Engineer, UK

iProov is looking for a Full Stack Software Engineer to join the growing iPortal team, in order to aid the development of a suite of tools to improve the management of customer data.

iProov is on a mission to make the internet a safer place for businesses and consumers. Our unique facial biometric technology allows banks, governments, healthcare and travel providers to verify customer identity online and provide simple access to secure services.

As part of the small, but growing iPortal team, you will have a great opportunity to shape the product and influence the direction of the team at all levels. You will have scope to evaluate the technologies used to deliver new features, and consider how the system architecture evolves and adapts to meet changing business requirements.

The Full Stack Development Engineer is expected to be remote until Summer 2021 and will then be based from our London HQ. The Full Stack Development Engineer will report to the Head of Development.

Responsibilities:

  • Play a key role in the development of iPortal ensure the successful management of iProov customer accounts and core products
  • Develop and optimise key components, including billing and reporting products.
  • Turn specifications into well executed working features
  • Ensure security of customer data and process integrity
  • Maintain observability of crucial actions with efficient logging and documentation
  • Work with the latest technologies and influence the direction of the product

Qualifications:

  • Full Stack development, experience with at least one of JavaScript, PHP and Python.
  • Frontend technologies, React and Redux
  • Happy writing tests and using TDD to deliver features
  • Comfortable shipping releases often, continuous delivery approach
  • Kubernetes and Microservice runtime environments
  • Knowledge of Docker (Skaffold and Helm a bonus)
  • Bash / Scripting, proficient working in the command line
  • CI/CD pipeline experience
  • A problem solver, happy working autonomously as well as collaboratively
