iProov has continued to scale rapidly this year and is currently looking for an Optimisation Engineer to join the growing AI function in our talented Science & Research team based in London. You will be responsible for improving the efficiency of our machine learning systems and reducing its computational costs.

How you’ll make an impact:

• Improve the efficiency of our Machine Learning system
• Work with colleagues across our Science team to review and improve our computer vision algorithms to ensure that they are able to scale efficiently and to reduce computational costs
• Partner with our Platform team to make the most efficient use of our cloud infrastructure
• Contribute to the broader research and technology strategy of the company

We tend to look for people with:

Qualifications:

• 3+ years’ experience delivering machine learning or computer vision systems in an industrial environment.
•  Strong understanding of both Machine Learning architectures and Cloud processing infrastructures
• Experience with at least one of Python, Matlab, C++ for ML and/or computer vision algorithms
• Experience with docker and at least one of GCP, AWS or Azure
• Bachelors or above in a numerate discipline such as computer science, engineering or related field

• You should be happy to take initiative in your tasks and be relatively self-organising
