Solutions Engineer

This role requires working closely with the sales team to engage customers and provide them with a sense of confidence in our product and service. You will add value throughout the sales cycle (from discovery to go-live). You will drive customer projects, managing complex timelines and cross-functional dependencies.

You will interface with multiple groups within iProov, bridging technical and commercial functions and provide useful context and insights, driving knowledge-sharing initiatives through effective forms of communication.

Customer Facing Responsibilities

  • Facilitate onboarding of new customers
  • Technical discovery on customers’ workflow and internal systems
  • Offer solutions to customers’ use cases
  • Respond to technical questions on iProov product, integration and infrastructure
  • Assist customers during the testing phase to remove roadblocks and progress quickly
  • Manage testing phase, and lead it to completion
  • Provide integration support in collaboration with customers’ tech teams

Internal Facing Responsibilities:

  • With product team to bring market feedback, which will influence product roadmap
  • With marketing team to create relevant collaterals for customers and sales
  • With engineering teams to create demo apps for customer testing

Must Have

  • Background in and technology, either as a software engineer or pre-sales engineer
  • Basic mobile development experience (iOS, Android)
  • General web development experience – familiarity with HTML, JS/ES6, CSS, GitHub
  • Basic backend programming (PHP, Python, .NET)
  • Experience integrating with third party services and API’s
  • Great skills building UI/UX mockups + flow diagrams
  • Excellent presentation + communication skills
  • A proactive team player, comfortable presenting in person as you are via conference call

Desirable

  • Knowledge of the biometric / cyber security industry
  • Prior experience in a communication-focussed role e.g. sales, support
