Across every major enterprise breach of recent years, identity has been the point of failure. Enterprises have invested heavily in Zero Trust, SSO, MFA, and passkeys, yet workforce identity attacks keep scaling.
These attacks succeed because of a structural gap. Zero Trust put identity at the heart of enterprise security, modernizing how we verify credentials, devices, and sessions. But Zero Trust assumed that if the credential is valid, the human is legitimate. With remote workforces and synthetic identities, that assumption is now a scaling, systemic threat.
The consequences are already visible. A single phone call to the help desk was enough to trigger the MGM breach, which cost the company over $100 million. Meanwhile, North Korean remote workers have infiltrated Fortune 500 companies and U.S. government agencies using fake identities, deepfakes, and laptop farms.
Join Joe Palmer, Chief Innovation Officer at iProov, as he explores how organizations can close that gap. You’ll hear how biometric identity assurance verifies the genuine human, not just their credentials or device, at key moments across the identity lifecycle, from hiring to privileged access and account recovery. Joe will also cover how this reduces help desk costs, strengthens audit accountability, and extends existing Zero Trust investments.
Finally, the session looks at agentic AI. As AI agents gain real authority to act, their capacity to help scales alongside their capacity to cause damage, and accountability back to a human decides which one you get.
What You’ll Learn
- Why Zero Trust’s core assumption (valid credential, legitimate human) no longer holds
- What the MGM breach and North Korean remote worker infiltration reveal about weaknesses in hiring, onboarding, and account recovery
- How to add biometric identity assurance to existing tooling across the identity lifecycle, and where it cuts costs and strengthens audit trails
- How agentic AI raises the stakes on identity, and why keeping its actions accountable to a human matters

- Guest chaired by: Olivia Bosch, Information Governance, Security and Assurance Professional
