iProov continues to be recognized for innovation in the prevention of cybercrime. This time, iProov’s patented Dynamic Liveness® technology won Gold at the U.S. Govies Government Security Awards in the category of User Authentication / Identification / Credentialing and Management. The Govies, presented by Security Today magazine since 2009, honor outstanding government security products in a variety of categories.

iProov’s Dynamic Liveness is employed by the U.S. Department of Homeland Security and other governments worldwide to confirm that a remote individual is who they claim to be. iProov’s face verification technology ensures that an individual is the right person, a real person and authenticating right now. This enables public sector agencies to make more services available digitally, such as enabling individuals to securely apply for benefit programs or renew a driver’s license without an in-person appointment.

The Govies Gold award follows other recent accolades, including iProov’s ranking on the FT 1000 of Europe’s fastest-growing companies list, being recognized for the second year in a row on the Deloitte Fast 50 of the UK’s fastest growing technology firms and being named the Gold Winner of Best Biometric Solution at the 2022 Cyber Security Global Excellence Awards.

iProov continues to make technological and security leaps in 2022 to help governments around the globe make the online world a safer place. In March, iProov achieved eIDAS Service Module Certification to Qualified Trust Level. This unique certification enables iProov to supply onboarding and authentication services to Qualified Trust Service Providers (QTSPs) throughout the European Union (EU) without complicated integration audits being required. The month before, iProov was granted its ninth U.S. patent to expand Genuine Presence to detect tampering with the photo and hologram patterns on driver’s licenses and other U.S. government-issued ID cards.
