iProov Firebase Acceptable Use Policy
This Acceptable Use Policy describes rules that apply to any party (“you”, “your” or “yours”) using any extension, products and/or services made available by iProov Limited (“iProov”) in connection with or via the Google or Firebase platform (“Trial Services”) including any user of the Trial Services via any application, products and services developed by an application developer (the “Application Developer”) which uses the Trial Services.
The prohibited conduct in this Acceptable Use Policy is not exhaustive. The Application Developer is responsible for the compliance of any party or person to which the Trial Services are made available by it. If this Acceptable Use Policy is violated, iProov may suspend your ability to use the Trial Services.
No Inappropriate Content or Users.
- Do not use to generate, transmit or store any content or communication (commercial or otherwise) that is illegal, harmful, unwanted, inappropriate or objectionable, including, but not limited to, any content or communication which iProov determines (a) is false, misleading or inaccurate; (b) is hateful or encourages hatred or violence against individuals or groups; or (c) could endanger public safety. You are prohibited from using the Trial Services to promote, or enable the transmission of or access to, any prohibited content or communications.
Prohibited Activities.
- Do not use any iProov product or services to access any Google or other product or service in a manner that violates the terms of service of such product or service.
- Do not use the Trial Services to engage in or encourage any activity that will break the law, encourage illegal activity, is deceptive, harmful, a violation of others’ rights (including intellectual property rights or their right to privacy) or is (as determined by iProov in its sole discretion) harmful to iProov’s business operations or reputation, including:

- Violations of Laws or Standards. Violating laws, regulations, governmental orders, industry standards, codes of practice or guidance in any applicable jurisdiction.
- Interference with the Services. Interfering with or otherwise negatively impacting any aspect of the Trial Services or platforms or any third-party platforms or networks that are linked to the Trial Services (including Firebase or Google platforms).
- Reverse Engineering. Reverse engineering, copying, disassembling or decompiling the Trial Services or any component of them or the intellectual property rights in them.
- Falsification of Identity. Creating a false identity.
- Commercial use of the Trial Services. Pretending that the Trial Services are your own or selling them or otherwise making them available to any third party.
- Creating or publishing damaging content. Creating, distributing and/or supporting and/or facilitating the creation and/or distribution of any materials or content which seeks to highlight, draw attention to and/or demonstrate any flaws, issues or vulnerabilities of any products or services of iProov (including the Trial Services).
No Service Integrity Violations.
Do not violate the integrity of the Trial Services or any Google or Firebase platform through in connection with which they are made available, including:
- Bypassing Service Limitations. Attempting to bypass, exploit, defeat, circumvent or disable limitations or restrictions of them.
- Security Vulnerabilities. Finding or attempting to find any security vulnerabilities to exploit or degrade the Trial Services or other products or services available from iProov or attempting to bypass or manipulate any security features of them.
- Overloading or disrupting the Services. Attempting to degrade, disrupt, disable or overload them.
- Harmful Code or Bots. Transmitting code, files, scripts, agents, or programs intended to do harm, including viruses or malware, corrupted files, hoaxes, or other items of a destructive or deceptive nature, or using automated means, such as bots, to gain access to or use them.
- Unauthorized Access. Attempting to gain unauthorised access to them.
Data Safeguards.
You are responsible for determining whether the Trial Services offer appropriate safeguards for you, including, but not limited to, any safeguards required by applicable law or regulation, prior to transmitting or processing, or prior to permitting any other person or party to transmit or process, any data or communications via the Trial Services.
You agree to immediately report any breach of this Acceptable Use Policy to iProov and to provide reasonable cooperation, as requested by iProov, to investigate and/or remedy that breach.
