What is Seamless Border Entry (SBE)?
SBE is a U.S. CBP initiative that uses facial biometric screening to enhance the efficiency and security of border crossings. It has been deployed at U.S. international airports as part of CBP’s biometric entry program.

What Is Enhanced Passenger Processing (EPP)?
EPP is an airport-funded program to expedite U.S. citizens arrival at the U.S. Customs and Border Protection (CBP) ports of entry. iProov’s on-the -move facial biometric screening enhances CBP’s ability to accelerate passenger processing while maintaining confidence in the identity of the passenger.

Powered by the same on-the-move facial biometric screening used by CBP SBE, it enhances security while driving smarter, cost-effective capacity management for airports and airlines.
How It Works:
Facial Biometrics
EPP and SBE use facial biometrics to verify passengers’ identities by matching their faces to images in passports, held in the CBP Traveler Verification Service (TVS).
Seamless, Continuous Flow
Passengers’ faces are captured and automatically matched against images, held in TVS, ensuring smooth processing unlike manual document checks. Onsite de vices process passengers continuously — whether walking or using mobility aids, delivering a fast , seamless experience without adding complexity or cognitive barriers.
