iProov, the leading provider of face authentication technology, has won the 2021 Global InfoSec Award for Biometrics Next-Gen.

The Global InfoSec Awards, now in their ninth year, are run by Cyber Defense Magazine, the industry’s leading electronic information security magazine.

“iProov embodies three major features we judges look for to become winners: combining security with usability, understanding tomorrow’s threats, today, and innovating to keep ahead of the ever-evolving threat landscape,\” said Gary S. Miliefsky, Publisher of Cyber Defense Magazine.

“We’re delighted to receive one of the most prestigious cybersecurity awards in the world from Cyber Defense Magazine. This award validates iProov’s innovative approach to online identity verification: highly secure, effortless to use, inclusive technology supported by our active threat management system,\” said Andrew Bud, CEO of iProov.

iProov’s Dynamic Liveness<\/a> technology enables organizations to verify that an online user is the right person (not an imposter), a real person (not a mask, a photo or other artifact) and that they are authenticating right now (and not a digital injection attack using deepfakes and other synthetic media). Customers include the U.S. Department of Homeland Security, the UK Home Office, the UK National Health Service (NHS), the Australian Taxation Office, GovTech Singapore, Rabobank, ING, and others.

The Global InfoSec accolade is the sixth award that iProov has won in 2021. iProov was also recognized as a Gartner Cool Vendor for Identity Access Management and Fraud Detection in 2020.
